Con sede a Tirli, Maremma freeride si trova nel cuore della Bandite Trail Area, diventando così un ottimo punto di partenza per raggiungere le bellissime zone circostanti, quali ad esempio Punta Ala, Scarlino, Follonica, Cala Violina, Castiglione della Pescaia e così via.
Se non hai portato con te una bicicletta, non temere: puoi noleggiarne una presso l’apposito servizio fornito dai ragazzi di Maremma freeride. Inoltre, si effettuano sia corsi destinati ai principianti che vogliano imparare le tecniche di guida di base sia corsi di enduro per chi ha già buone capacità.
Data la presenza di condizioni meteorologiche favorevoli, le escursioni di Maremma freeride sono attive tutto l’anno: non resta che partire!
A group of bikers and certified instructors, including an environmental guide, who deeply know the territory, will accompany you in organized tours and excursions around the Tuscan Maremma. Based in Tirli, they are located at the very heart of the Bandite Trail Area, from which several destinations can be reached, e.g. Punta Ala, Scarlino, Follonica, Cala Violina, Castiglione della Pescaia and so on.
If you have not brought your mtb with you, don’t worry – they’ve got you covered: you can rent one of theirs at their rental services. Also, if this is your first time mountain biking and need some guidance on basic skills and techniques, this can be absolutely arranged with their driving courses! More experienced riders can follow enduro courses specifically targeted for them.
Thanks to favourable weather conditions, which are typical of this area, tours and excursions can be organized all year round – just say when!

Parco della Maremma
Questo tour dura mezza giornata e si sviluppa lungo un itinerario di 23 km accessibile a chiunque. Comprende la visita all’abbazia di San Rabano risalente al X secolo e prosegue su un sentiero che conduce alla spiaggia di Colle Lungo, conservata nella sua bellezza, che è raggiungibile solamente attraverso questo percorso o via mare. Durante l’estate, questo itinerario è disponibile esclusivamente per gruppi di 10 persone.
Isola del Giglio
Quest’escursione dura un giorno completo. Di questa chicca dell’arcipelago toscano dalle acque cristalline, visiterete i suoi tre paesini, la rocca Aldobrandesca e le spiagge.
Cala violina
Itinerario di mezza giornata, accessibile a tutti, che può essere svolto anche di notte. Visiterete la riserva naturale della Bandite di Scarlino. In mezzo al bosco, sentieri e strade bianche vi porteranno alla spiaggia incontaminata di Cala Violina, così chiamata per via dal rumore, simile a quello di un violino, prodotto dalla sabbia a contatto col piede.
Argentario
Questo itinerario si sviluppa lungo il promontorio dell’Argentario, un territorio ricco di storia, come testimoniano le torri e le fortezze medievali che lo abbracciano. Le vedute sull’arcipelago e sulla laguna di Orbetello non sono di certo da meno!
Possibilità di scegliere tra il tour di mezza giornata (25 km circa) e il tour completo (50 km circa con sosta a pranzo nella spiaggia della Feniglia).

Parco della Maremma
This is a half-day tour in the Maremma Natural Park. This trail is accessible to everyone and is about 23 km long. You will start by visiting the amazing San Rabano abbey, deep in the forest, which was built in the 10th century. Then, you will carry on to a path that will lead you to the wonderful Colle Lungo, an uncontaminated beach that can only be reached either through this itinerary or by boat. During the summer, this tour is only available for groups of 10 people.
Isola del Giglio
This excursion lasts a full day. It consists of a wonderful itinerary over the Island, where you will be able to admire its natural beauty, its wonderful beaches and the small villages.
Cala Violina
Half-day excursion, suitable for everyone, which can also be done at night. The itinerary takes place inside the Bandite di Scarlino natural reserve area. In the middle of the wood, white routes and small trails will lead you to the beautiful and famous Cala Violina beach, which is named after the sound that the sand makes when you step on it: Violina just like a violin.
Argentario
This itinerary develops in the Argentario promontory, a territory filled with history and tradition, as suggested by the presence of medieval towers and fortresses. The view over the Tuscan archipelago and Orbetello are breath-taking as well!
Depending on your personal preference, this tour can be organized to last half a day or a full day. In the first case, it will be about 25 km long; whereas in the second, it will be 50 km long and you will stop to have lunch at the Feniglia beach.

Se non hai portato con te la bici, non c’è problema: puoi tranquillamente noleggiarne una. Le e-bike e le e-mtb gestiscono ogni tipologia di terreno e in più, grazie alla pedalata assistita, sono un ottimo ausilio per chi non è particolarmente allenato. Inoltre, il noleggio ti darà diritto a uno sconto del 10% su tutte le attività locali!

Plus, you can get basically EVERYWHERE with the help of pedal assistance, which comes in particularly handy for those who are not so trained! Il servizio è disponibile tutto l’anno a Tirli, Castiglione della Pescaia, Scarlino, Monte Argentario e Massa Marittima. Da queste località è possibile raggiungere trail di qualsiasi tipo, dal Fast and Furious (flow) al Rock Oh (maggiormente tecnico). In alternativa, si può percorrere il canyon di Massa Marittima oppure godere di una vista magnifica sull’arcipelago toscano dal Monte Argentario (soprattutto al tramonto). Il servizio di shuttle include:
- trasporto andata e ritorno
- disponibilità di utensili basici e di ricambio
- acqua
Il tour di mezza giornata può essere svolto dalle 9 alle 12:30 oppure dalle 14 alle 17:30.
Il tour di una giornata intera parte alle 9 e finisce alle 17:30.
The shuttle service is available all year round and it operates in Tirli, Castiglione della Pescaia, Scarlino, Monte Argentario and Massa Marittima. From here, you will gain access to several trails, such as the Fast and Furious (flow) or the Rock Oh (more technical). You can even explore the canyon in Massa Marittima. At sunset, we suggest you ride the trail on the Monte Argentario because you will rewarded with a wonderful view from all over the Tuscan archipelago.
The shuttle service includes:

The half-day tour takes place either from 9 am to 12:30 pm or from 2 pm to 5:30 pm.
The full-day tour takes place from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
